Kindergarten
Ages 5-6 | Full Year Curriculum (August – May + Summer)
Kindergarten focuses on wonder, play, and gentle introduction to learning through nature, story, and hands-on exploration. Our year follows the Wheel of the Year, beginning at Lammas (first harvest) and ending at Beltane, with optional summer activities for Litha.

We begin our school year at the first harvest, learning gratitude, routines, and the joy of bread.
7th Principle: Respect for the interdependent web
Mabon: Balance & Gratitude
Sept 8 – Oct 17
At the fall equinox, day and night balance. We harvest, give thanks, and prepare for darker days.

The veil thins. We honor those who came before and learn that death is part of life's cycle.
2nd Principle: Justice, equity, and compassion
Yule: Darkness & Returning Light

In the darkest time, we find hope. The sun returns, and we celebrate rest, giving, and light.
1st Principle: Inherent worth and dignity
Imbolc: Awakening & Brigid

First stirrings of spring. We honor Brigid—goddess of poetry, healing, and smithcraft.
3rd Principle: Acceptance and spiritual growth
Ostara: Balance & New Life

Spring equinox brings balance again. New life bursts forth—eggs, bunnies, sprouts, and joy.
4th Principle: Free and responsible search for truth
Beltane: Growth & Community

Flowers bloom, bees buzz, and we celebrate community around the maypole. School year ends!
5th Principle: Right of conscience and democratic process
Litha: Summer Sun & Fun
June – July
School's out, but learning continues! Low-pressure summer activities to prevent learning loss.
